The Arai Tour-X5 Honda AT is an ECE 22.06 adventure-touring helmet with a super-fibre laminate shell, improved ventilation, and a VAS-A visor system.
Improving on the Tour-X4, the Tour-X5 is a multi-functional full-face helmet for adventuring, off-road, and on-road wear. Its 3-in-1 configuration gives you three styles in one helmet: keep the peak and visor on for an adventure-ready look, swap the visor for goggles to tackle off-road trails, or remove the peak for a streamlined on-road experience.

Certified to the latest ECE 22.06 safety standards, the helmet boasts Arai’s Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction shell (PB-CLC2): a shock-absorbing, triple-density interior shell with an EPS liner and a Hyper Ridge bottom for improved rigidity.
One of the significant changes is the new visor system; the Tour-X5 utilises Variable Axis System A (VAS-A), derived from the VAS-V system developed for the RX-7V. This system maximises Glancing-Off performance, improves visibility, and makes swapping visors easier and faster. The new Max-Vision visor, with Pinlock 120 XLT insert, delivers a wide field of view with optimal clarity thanks to its anti-fog properties.
The all-new peak has been designed to reduce buffeting and wind noise during road riding. It allows a greater range of adjustability to block the sun and provide more effective ventilation.
Arai has also improved the ventilation system by adding a new 3D Arai logo duct to the three-position chin and centre top vent. The helmet’s interior channels pull ventilation through the shell and out the various rear vents, including the side exhausts, neck vent, and rear duct.
Additionally, the helmet’s shell now flares 5mm on each side for a combined 10mm additional space around the base to make it easier to get the helmet on and off. The Emergency Release System (ERS) cheek pads allow for quick removal in the event of an accident. The Facial Contour System (FCS) offers better support and comfort to the lower jaw, and the double D retention system delivers a secure fit.
